Shayla, whom Tyrese shares with his former wife Norma Mitchell, was born in 2007. Her parents divorced when she was young, and their custody arrangements later became part of a long-running family-court dispute. In 2017, Tyrese and Mitchell were granted 50/50 custody of Shayla.
Now 18, Shayla recently celebrated another major milestone: graduating from high school.
